New to forum not to the G

Lot of good ideas floating out here for updating my 06 MT. It has been parked for a year due to the governments idea of a vacation, and is now due some TLC. A hail storm while I was gone will require some minor cosmetics and the insurance check will pay for the rest of the Mods I am thinking of.
Around 7500.00 dollars I am willing to spend and other than an intake she is stock.
Suggestions?

Yes, I have left it alone since new but now that I have some hail dings to take out of it I figure it is time to do a few performance mods as well. I want it to remain a DD but I would like to make it custom. One that you can pick out of a parking lot full of G's. And yet be as much a sleeper as well. I don't want the performance mods to be obvious. Any recommendations?

^The majority of performance mods aren't visually noticeable anyways. What are your expectations performance wise? There's many options but they're not cheap.

Thumbs up Before You start modding

If your car has been literally sitting for a year, you should have it checked out. Have someone check the bushing, the fuel (it goes bad overtime when just sitting in the tank), give it a good inspection to make sure their will be no hiccups when you start adding your mods. Also, FI is a very noticeable mod but it's not cheap on these cars. You can do an exhaust, suspension work, brake upgrade, headers, HFC's, larger throttle bodies, the list goes on and on but, like someone said it ain't cheap.

I had it completely gone over when I got home. Radiator flush, water pump, throttle body cleaned, oil filter, transmission serviced... It has been good for a month except the radiator fans quit working. Was the relays and have since replaced. I am aiming towards handling Mods, and a few engine mods. I have a years worth of savings thanks to Uncle Sam. A long as the paychecks keep coming I can spend around 7500. I do need some new tires though a mine are spent so figure 6500. Suggestions? I have a donor G my neighbor wrecked and he had his modded really heavy. His was a sedan but engine and a few other parts can still be used.
