Exclamation 2005 G35 Coupe

Hey guys, kinda new to this, but Im strongly considering buying this G35 2005 Coupe! It has 45, XXX , the car is in perfect condition. The dealer wanted 14,000 but were negotiating on 10/11K! Here's the thing Im worried, people tell me its a very expensive car to maintain, and Im better off with a Honda Civic because its cheaper and bla bla bla. If I do purchase this car what are some MAIN things I should keep watch for, to have the best G35 experience in the long run? PS: it's my first car ever! Thanks guys , much love!

It's not that expensive, but it costs more then a Honda. It is an entry level luxury car so it does have it's tendencies to be pricier in certain areas.

Not to kill your spirit, it has more horsepower then you are probably going to be able to handle at your age. I would recommend the civic or similar as it is a car that COMFORTABLY seats four people. The G is a 2+2 kind of car...

It's really low mileage also, so I think the 10k-11k is BS. Get it tested by an independent Nissan mechanic.

Good luck with your decision!

If it's your first car and you're new to driving, I'm going to have to agree with Urbanengineer up there. For a first car it's a lot to handle, and although it's not terrible to maintain, the costs are there. Oil, gas, and tires are probably your highest concerns, and a couple of miscellaneous items will blow out in the car in time (radio, window motors, door locks are the most common). The engine and transmissions will probably hold up fine.

At least if you get 10-11k for it, you'll be getting a great deal.
