Hello everyone; my name's Josh, my wife and I have acquired an 04 and an 05 G35.

2004 is tan with black skirt accents, 2005 is all silver.
Beige interior and black/grey interior.


I look forward to maintenancing, customizing, and overall investing in worthwhile modifications with you guys' and gals' input, as I'm obviously new to the Infiniti game. I'll post pics later on, though you're not missing much.

Well, we were trading in her last car [2010 Mini Coper] for a four-door since we're about to have a baby and got a hell of a deal for both of them. [Mini @ 48k mi for 04 @ 113k & 05 & 86k + 2500 cash on top]
I'm no whiz mechanic, but I know my way around a four-wheeled machine, and after crawling under the two[and haggling with the stealership for eight hours, mind you] and kicking the tires, I decided the deal was where I wanted it.

Seeing as my daily was just my Ninja 250r, it was a deal we couldn't refuse. We will be having our first child on Sunday or before, so we need four doors to get the baby around. I've had a long back and forth with my wife over 'who's is who's' with them. I wanted the 2004 because it had more miles, was the older model, etc. but she liked the feel of it.... I changed the tires on the 05 and ordered plugs/wires for it, and suddenly she wants the 05 again... so I guess both will be rotated , which means I'll have to hunt for 'Buy 1 Get 1' deals in the G35 atmosphere.

 

Nice man! Congrats on the cars and the baby! You won't regret me, they are great cars

 

I think you will both be happy with the G's. That really was a good deal for both cars.

 

No kidding about the good deal. If you are a lawyer, I want you on my side.... :-)

 

There are starving children in Africa and you're hogging all the G35s. Tisk tisk. Haha
