I pretty much got my first car a couple a weeks ago, saved money for like a year
It's a 2003 coupe, automatic, since I don't know how to drive manual transmission, but I really want to learn in the future and get a manual g35.. hopefully soon.
Any mods to make it look better, it has stock 17" wheels painted black with some plasti dip i guess
In this couple of weeks someone already stole the back plate light -_-

Congrats on the G, wish I could of had a G for my first car. Good luck with it, drive safe cuz it doesn't take much for it to bite you. You will have a great time making her your own, and learn a lot in the process.

I have always loved the G series and hope you enjoy it as your first car. It has a lot of power for a first car so definitely take the time learning how to handle it before you try and show off.
I'm not a fan of the black rims on the black car, but its up to you. You don't need to make any performance mods until you understand the car better.
Learning to drive manual is cake.

Congrats, I remember my first car. It was a 1985 Mazda hatch that has no power steering. You have a very nice first car. Good taste.

Welcome to Driver! Very nice OB (black) coupe, looks good! Consider yourself lucky, most of us weren't fortunate to have that kinda quality/cool for our first ride. Don't concern yourself with the AT, you can learn to shift just as quickly as a MT. You can get new license plate bulbs from our Marketplace under vendor accessories. Good Luck, be careful and enjoy the ride!

Shifting is one thing but drive train loss is the main concern. You can never get as fast a 6mt or put down as much power as a 6mt bolt on for bolt on. Now if you suck at shifting and let an automatic beat you. You deserve to get beat and downgraded to a prius or smart car.Originally Posted by gary c

I just found out they didn't steal it. There were just some cables hanging loose from the plate thing so I thought someone stole it.. and yea very lucky,, most of my friends are starting with like a honda and stuff but i saved up for a year and something without spending a penny.. hard work pays off.. I want to do so many things with it now looking at ur avatar like a new front bumper but everything is so expensive, just getting the bumper is 400$ plus paint and installationOriginally Posted by gary c
