Just checking in

Hey everyone. I'm new to being a G owner but have been following this forum for a while. Bought a 2003.5 EM sedan. Looking forward to hearing some opinions on what I should do to with my ride. Already have some ideas to making it truly one of a kind but the more ideas, the better

A little common sense first!

Welcome 3xclu5ive! Infiniti has a maintenance schedule where all fluids are replaced every 30K miles. Do you know if this was done before you bought the sedan? What kinda shape are the suspension/brakes in? These are all things to consider for you start making any mods! Again welcome and enjoy the ride...Gary

Good point. The fluids were replaced (so they say) and the brakes feel fine for now and the rotors seem ok but I was planning on getting it serviced myself just so I know for sure. One thing I did forget to ask about was the timing belt. I heard after around 100,000 miles I have to check for things like this and the car just hit 100,000 when I bought it. So I'm not sure what I should do about that at this point

Spark time! Freshen up your ignition with some NGK's when they go up for sale here on the marketplace.

You're G has a timing chain, so you're good. Ask a good mechanic about a chain adjustment.

Thanks everyone. I'm gonna look around for a good mechanic in ny, preferably one that works on G's a lot, to work on that for me
