New from FL
I figured I'd go ahead and introduce myself, I'm Scott, from Fort Myers, FL. I don't currently have a G car, but I'm in the market for one and I've been lurking the site a lot the last month or so.
I started out looking for a 4-door, manual, rwd car and quickly found out they're pretty tough to come by. It didn't take long to decide the G35 was a clear winner in the segment, at least for the money I intend to spend. I test drove a higher mileage car last weekend that looked like the hulk went off inside it (everything was busted up, smashed, ripped inside), I decided to hold out for something nicer but was definitely impressed with the car overall. Just trying to stay patient, keep lurking, and hold out for exactly what I'm looking for.

Make sure if you are looking at the 6MT models that you inquire about oil consumption IN PERSON. This should be easy to spot a half truth. Otherwise the cars have crazy low maintenance.
Thanks for the welcome guys, and for the advise.
My wife's pregnant so really I'm really looking at something with 4 doors. Right now I've got a RSX-S that I'm daily driving and a turbo miata (...here come the gay jokes) that's my toy. The added room/easier access of a sedan is the main objective. The plan is to swap the RSX for a G35.

Thought I'd go ahead and update the thread. As of today I'm officially an owner. Found a really nice Ivory Pearl manual '04 sedan. I bought it from a middle aged lady that was the original owner, all maintenance history at the dealer, 84k miles, really clean, and seems to be in great condition. I had about a 200 mile drive to bring her home and so far I'm really liking the car.
I'm bad to go mod crazy with cars but I'm trying to take it slow and mild with this one. Definitely want to get the windows tinted and eventually I'd like to do coilovers and some 19" Rays wheels off a coupe but other than that I plan to keep her pretty much stock.

First thing I did was pull off the stupid "I....N....F....I....N....I....T....I" badges when I got home.
