New from PR

Hi everybody, I just bought a 2005 G35 coupe. I'm new to this type of cars. My previous cars were a 2008 civic si and I'm currently own a 2011 Mitsubishi Evolution. My plan with the G35 is to use it as my daily driver as I'm turning my Evo into a weekend/track warrior. So far I like the G. Probably I'm going to do some maintenance stuff because the car already have 80k miles. So any advice you guys have is well appreciated as I'm trying to learn the stickies but is a bit hard to understand sometimes because of my limited english. Thanks in advance.

Welcome! And your G looks good
I see the previous owner added the clear corners and the OEM 19's, so you've got that going for you.

Also, your English is pretty good

Hahaha. Thanks. My english is good thanks to galaxy note 2 auto correct lol. Yeah the car have the 19" wheels but they are not in the best condition :-( . Also I have 2 questions. I have no idea what intake is this (I think is a knock off) and what the hell is this open bottle at the bottom of the engine?

Probably spectre intake from auto zone.

That is a resonator for the stock intake, which does look like an open bottle haha.

An auto zone intake? Hmm I don't like that very much.
Well, I thought that it was part of the stock intake but just wanted to be sure.
Thanks.

Open bottle

The "open bottle" is your secret liquor storage container. But, you're missing the cap, so don't put any liquor in there. That's the only carro rojo me gusto. Me espanol is mal! Bienvenidos.

I thought I will not mod this car but maybe I change that intake and later on the exhaust too. I don't want it to be loud. Just loud enough so I can hear it without having roll the window down.

Hey guys, I'm going to buy the xenon hid d2r bulbs but I have some doubts. I read that morimoto makes good quality lights but when I was trying to buy it and read the description it said not for use with infiniti/nissan ballast. So I didn't buy it until I was sure. So if you can help me with a link or something where I can get the bulbs will be great. Also I'm not sure what color the oem hid are because my car came with some pink/purple ones that I immediately hate. So I will appreciate your help. Thanks.
