2004 G35 Coupe help (newbie)

So I just bought a 2004 g35 two months ago it has 145k miles on it and I was wondering if I should fix it up and modd it but this is what I have done to it so far , buying blue brake covers and putting led fog light strips on it , what else should I do to it ? Was buying the car a good investment? Btw I'm only a 19 year old college student

Welcome, Jozy! Buying any car, other than a beater to get you to point A to point B, is never a good investment.

Whether you mod your car is your decision. You shouldn't ask other people. They have no stake in your car. Do you want your car to look, sound, or perform differently? Do you have the money for it? Then make a decision based on your answers.

Brake covers and LED strips are not a good look. I was once a 19 year old and I wanted to mod my Honda. I remember wanting to do every little exterior mod available on Ebay (windshield washer nozzle LEDs, red back-lit emblems). Looking back, I am so grateful I was too frugal to go through with them. Any real car enthusiast will laugh at you. Upgrade your car, don't degrade it with cheap and tacky mods.

Speaking of your car, what happened to it? Were the wheels, side markers, headlights and tail lights burnt in a fire? Poor car. Maybe you should spend your money on getting those fixed first.

It's your car so do what you like since you are paying for it. If you decide on brake caliper covers, please post pics and I'll bring the hot dogs..

Your car man but the G does best with tasteful mods that enhance its style as opposed to crap all over it. In the case of fog light strips and caliper covers, none is more.

This guy is new too!

Please remove the headlight tints they are illegal and they ruin your vision. Brake covers that aren't supposed to make the car look like it has a BBK are fine to keep dust off your ride, but ruins the heat sink ability of your calipers. I would advise against those.

Don't listen to anyone on here.
Brake covers and LED fog lights are great mods. Now that you have a BBK, I'd paint the headlights even darker. You'll want to take full advantage of those sweet LEDs.
