Hey y'all, my name is Thomas and I'm in the Dallas area. Just upgraded to a black 06 g35 6-speed from an automatic 07 eclipse gs. Right now I'm trying to figure out some common problems with high mileage g35s, and I want to get the car in good shape before I start modding. Hope to learn a lot from this forum.

Why do you suspect it has problems?

 

There's a few common problems I've seen on the forum such as weak window motors and weak door lock actuators that I've been experiencing. Seems like they fail the most in the heat, so it's inconvenient that I live in Texas. Other than that, I've just been changing out normal maintenance parts such as spark plugs, brake pads, belts, tires, brake fluid, power steering fluid, and oil. Seems like I'll also need a new clutch pretty soon as mine is beginning to slip.
