Hey guys, picking up my G35 tomorrow. I've had a few Hondas in the past, then an Audi that I absolutely fell in love with, sold it for a beater Accord to finish school, and now that I've graduated and landed a real job I decided to treat myself!

And the G35 I'll be picking up tomorrow!



It's an 05 6MT with 74k. I was a little nervous with the whole oil consumption thing but it seems to be solid. I guess only time will tell! Maybe you guys can help me with the details on it. It appears to be a premium package, has a subtle catback exhaust and shortshifter, clear corners, and what the owner claims to be JDM tails.



Not sure on that one though, hard to tell by the photo. Anyways, glad to be here and hope to learn alot!

Are there different year JDM tails? I've noticed that some tails seem to be flush with the lines of the bumper while these appear to kid of jut out at the sides.

 

Picked it up today. Wow. I love it. Such a solid car. The tails are indeed JDM tails, and it has a Silverline catback. Is this a known exhaust or just some off-brand? Beyond thrilled with the car so far!
