What's up y'all names Nate and am happy to be on this great forum. Feel free to hit up my garage and check the whip out!
I am actually looking for a quick question with some hid ballasts I installed today for the low beams. My fog lights switch in the car no longer works. Don't get me wrong though the 6000k low hid look tight mixed with my xenon 8000k. Where would I make a post about this? Sucks to not have fog lights and have to run my reg lights just to get them to stay on .
Thanks,
Nate

If you're low beams are 8000k please lose that immediately. All others on the road will thank you for it

8K is rice not to mention the loss of usable light output.

It looks foolish.

Honda owners enjoy it's "sexy blueness" as well

Welcome to the forum

It depends who's 8000K bulbs you are using. Our 8000K is much whiter than other vendors:

What everyone is saying is correct though. The higher you go on the kelvin scale the less usable light output you will get from your lights

4300K is OEM FWIW

Haha my last car was a honda. Go figure. But aight I'll take everyone's word for it.

Jerseytaylor I'm learning here so let's lay off got it. I'm not on here to be ridiculed, find someone else to annoy. Love how my first impression of this forum is I get the first idiot whose ego almost strangles me through the post haha no need.

As to you other guys I appreciate it.

I'll put my 6k back in soon. On another note I need a better ballast than the one I just purchased from ijdmtoy because I got a whole fog light hid set up and I can tell it'll blind people. On top of that it doesn't work when I just flip my fogs on.....3 hours of my life has now been wasted because I'm a n00b at the electronics of a car. But it was easy to do for a first timer!
Do y'all recommend xenon department extreme or TRS or just a 6k halogen fog? I looked these up from people mentioning them on the forum.

I suggest visiting our research section to familiarize yourself with lighting technology: http://www.diodedynamics.com/store/research.html
