Hello from Toronto, Canada

Recieved the car about a week ago after many headaches. Upgrading from a 2006 ford fusion i4 5 speed so everything is just fantastic in comparison to that car. Duh.
baught a G35 M6 trim, 6 speed(obviously) with 170,000 km on it. The car needed a few things replaced when I got it which the dealership replaced for me. New muffler, quiteflow so its not the best sounding but it is new so i wasnt going to complain. New rear diff mounts and the clutch is worn heavily but the dealership wont touch the clutch for free. Just getting the feel for the car before I have the clutch re and re'd with a Centerforce stage 1. It is amazing to drive even for its age but i feel like im preaching to the choir. The car does burn a substantial amount of oil and has the dipstick in a pain area. However I have not had the time to try and diagnose the oil burn or leak. There is the oil burning smell from the muffler at the moment but it could be leaking as well from the oil pan gasket not sure yet. Im an experienced driver, a veteran of 3 driving schools, 6 winters of plowing airports in standard vehicles(split axle) and many northern winter roadtrips. Cant wait for winter tires and snow
As a additional note: I had a rattling noise the first week and in a panic i assumed it was the infamous throw out or pilot bearings. Turned out just to be the new muffler rattling against something so a big relief.

Car is amazing and I love this forum site already.

Vlascoff. I assume you haven't had you G out in the snow yet seeing as how you just got it in August. Are you going to DD it all winter or get a beater? Love your nav BTW.

Let's just put it this way... i hope there won't be much snow this winter

although if i think about it, buying new winter tires would be the same price as a beater. i might go with the canadiantire deal, 12 month no interest. otherwise ill be broke very soon
