New to G35 and forums

Hi everyone!

So I just bought my first 2003 Infiniti G35 coupe black. I have never owned an Infiniti before so I am here to learn more about my new to me car. I am currently full of questions about the car My first mods will be light bulbs like the DRL i think they are called in the head lamp and finding the reason my driver side 12v plug does not work but the ring lights up.. Still have a lot of threads to search but I am by far happy with the car just hate that stock cd player!!
Here are a couple of pics of her:

He means the stuck on molding running down the side of the car.

Odds are those have been on for 11 years and have some nasty stuff stuck under them Some wouldn't consider touching .

Great looking coupe!

most of the time it is held on my double sided 3M glue. You could remove it with fishing line, or you could just leave it be...

Paint under there is brand new paint and current paint around it is 11 years weathered. It will be hard to match, and personally I'm up for saving a dent any day with the side panels...!

The paint I hear is cheap on these cars and they flake quite often

I just think its ugly as crap. Not your car, I mean those bumpers. They bisect the door and interrupt the flow of the car. Take them off and voila! Sexy tiiiime.

lol i guess it does not bother me too much. My main concern right now is the light on the far side of the headlamp the one that is vertical and is on the outer part of headlamp I want to put a LED in there and rid of that nasty looking stock bulb I'll post a pic of it to show better if needed..

Welcome to G35 Driver! Beautiful OB coupe! Before you think of modding read all the sticky at the top of the coupe page...knowledge is power! Those are side molding, if you decide to remove them Search "Debadging!" There is a gazillion posts on the subject, side molding will take a few hours because you'll need to remove the ghosting with a high speed buffer and cleaner when it's finally off. Good Luck & Enjoy the ride!

Ledmarkers.com

Sites down right now, but its a great source for lights. They're a vendor here too. You can retrofit LEDs on that light strip.
