If you really want the look I think you're going for, 20mm in the rear isn't gonna cut it. 25 is minimum IMO and 30 is probably what you want. You will need a minor roll with 25 if you're lowering it and you most likely will with 20mm too, although I can't be totally sure, but in really aggressive turns (like a 45mph 180 degree off-ramp going 55mph per se) you may still rub with 20s. Im just saying you should just roll yer fenders and get what you really want. It only seems daunting. Its actually very easy. Rolling your fenders doesn't change the look tho.

Enough of us, I think, have tried to take a cheaper or easier way out only to do it right the second, third, or fourth time.

I think I paid $20 for someone on the forum to roll my rear fenders. 5 years later and the paint is still fine. The rear fenders should NOT be a limiting factor.

I might just go ahead and find someone to roll my fenders who has past experience with that job. I've watched a few videos on it recently and there seems to be some risk of paint damage if it's not done just right. Thanks to all for the advice.

With the tools mentioned and the careful guidance of "Slow Hand" I believe I could now make this happen. I'll probably give it a shot this coming weekend, we'll see how it turns out. Those are also the same tools that I saw from some of the videos.

Yeah, plus some cracked paint under there is no biggie. Seen it happen a few times. Just hit it with some touch up so it doesn't rust. It can be our little secret.
