Newbie Question

I have to G35 that I am wanting to buy. One is a 05 with 110+ miles and the other is a 04 with 60,000 miles. The 05 have carbon fiber hood, stage 2 clutch and injen performance parts which includes the exhaust and air intake. The 04 have custom intake and exhaust. They both are in good shape, but i heard that the 05 models are hard to keep up with maintenance. I really need your help.

Do you drive 50,000 miles per year. Go for the lower mileage, imho.

I would tend to go for the 04' because I would bet it hasn't had the **** driven out of it as bad.

The 05' just screams "boy racer" to me.

Georgia to Texas you say....just like the Bandit.

Serious note, 05 interior is better and you lose the cassette deck. If it is not a HR motor, maintenance should be the same. If it were me, I would go for 50k mileage G.

Does the 04 come with Brembo brakes? Have either ones upgraded headlights to projectors??? How do they drive compared to one another? Food for thought.

It's always better to buy the lowest mileage car you can afford if they've been taken care of! CARFAX is a must and maintenance records are a major plus when possible...Gary

The 04 has the brembo brakes system but the 05 has the better rotor kit on it. The 04 has the new headlight kit, but neither are projectile headlights. They both drive excellent for their age and everything. Both are great compatible cars
