Long time lurker from New Zealand

Hi Everyone,

Long time lurker, and recently purchased a 2006 V36 350GT Skyline (basically RHD G35). Loving the car so far, cant get enough of the engine.

Mine is the high spec Type SP, with the rare Fauve interior option (tan leather and woodtrim). Also has the active headlights, heated and electric seats and sport kit.

Have some plans for it (lowering, front tints, spacers, axle back exhaust). Also needs a real good detail.

Welcome to Driver! From the pic that looks like a very high end sedan. I wouldn't do anything to it except keeping it clean and waxed along with the maintenance required to keep it running to perfection! Again Welcome and enjoy that beautiful ride...Gary

Welcome to the G community! Are you sure that is a 2006? Looks like 2007-2008 maybe 2009 if it's a 7speed.

Cheers guys. The Japanese Skyline was around a little longer than the G35. Production appears to have started 11/2006, Mine was built 12/2006.

Japan doesnt use Vin in that format, only a frame number.

Im 110% certain its a 2006. Its a crossover year from V35 to V36.

I don't doubt it's an '06. When I had my LGT, I was looking for a JDM double din and had to buy it from a Japanese website. They had Legacy GTs from 04-09 when here in the states the production years were only 05-09.

Awesome interior. Love the seats. Welcome!
