Hey ladies and gents! I'm new and I don't have a G. I'm actually looking to buy one and learn the ups and downs or pros and cons of the car. I'm from northern cal btw.

Welcome to our G35 family Ahg from NorCal! Looking for a G, find the one with the lowest mileage in the best condition you can afford...which is true buying any car! Want to learn about our cars, read all the stickys at the top of the coupe page. Have questions use our Search, all your questions have already been answered long ago. Hope you find the ride you're looking for! Good Luck!

So he said coupe. Is that what your looking for? Sedan is way more sexier. Lol. North Cali has a big G community. I would get with then.

I would read up on the stickies and what not on here. There's so much info on here that will really help you along the way once you own one.

I just bought a Coupe myself and love it. Welcome! Hopefully I'll be seeing your future G on here.

Sedan is def. not sexier. Only plus is your friends don't hate you for making them squeeze in! Plus I sit far back so you can barley fit someone behind me

+1. My girlfriend and I really don't like the look of G's as a sedan. The good thing is..we rarely give anyone rides or car pool anymore these days. If we need to, we just take her Vibe haha.

Thank you all for the advice but a little update on my search... I've been lurking the forum since and trying to weigh out my options, as well the pros and cons. Now I know this is a G forum but what are your opinions on 2nd gen is350's ? I ask because I decided on that instead of the G and now I miss the M/T. Only did it for the counterpart cause she doesn't drive manual but now she wants to learn. Fml... Anyways, my last 2 and only cars were manual and I'm just used to the whole shifting. Now I'm thinking about trading it in for a M/T G35 coupe. I know the is250 offers a M/T but I've been told it's a night and day difference vs the 350. Plus, somethin about the g35s really catches my attention and was my initial choice. Any input would help. Btw, haven't told her I'm thinking about a trade in ATM. But that'll be another story.
