I have a 2005 G35 X. All stock, factory Bose and nav.

I joined specifically because of the double DIN install thread. My head unit is starting the slow spiral to death, randomly shutting off and not wanting to come back to life. I am gathering parts to begin the change.

Thanks for your help, and the thread about changing out the stereo.

I joined myself because of the double din install thread and the navigation thread. Now I can't stop searching old threads to learn as much as I can about my car. But post a picture of your g35x so we can see the beauty

 

Here it is after the first wash, shortly after buying it. I've tinted the windows since.

 

Hopefully not too dark! Looks good, like my old sedan.

I bought it used with 72k miles. The previous owner left MP3 CDs of various music. The car was clean, there isn't even real discoloration where they put the clear bra on. The valet key was still in the owners pouch in the trunk, sealed in the little package.

And I did not go too dark on the tint. The legal limit in Colorado isn't very dark. And the tint looks good on it. I'll have to get a pic with the tint.
