TPMS question

Quick question for the board... I've noticed the low tire pressure light go off on my coupe after about 10 miles of normal driving although when I check the tire pressure it's fine.

Is this normal or do you think I have a faulty sensor?

if warning light stays flashing, it's your tire. if warning light flashes at start, and goes solid and stays solid, it's bad sensor.

Thx... The light doesn't flash it's a solid yellow but doesn't come in immediately at start. It's usually after driving for a bit. Once the car is turned off for and restarted the warning light goes away.

Is there an easy way to identify/isolate the potential bad sensor?

Do the TPMS diagnostic mode check WITHOUT Consult 2. It will blink sort of like a morse code...

Slow blinks are _
Fast blinks are -

So:

_ _ - - - -

Is 24.

_ - - is 12.

Post your sequence here, we can use the factory service manual to let you know which one is bad.

@Urbanengineer Thx! I'm not immediately familiar with the TPMS diagnostic mode but I'm sure a quick Google will help out.

You have it. Go to forums > tech area > DIY. FSM (factory service manual).
