Increasing Torque AT

Hello this is my first post! Ive read lots of good info from this site. I have recently bought a new to me 05 g35! I love this car. It has been my dream car for quite sometime and now i own it! Woot!

This is also rhe most powerful and the only rear wheel drive car ive ever had as well. My question is there anyway to increase the amount of torque i can put to the ground without super or turboing my car? It is a 5AT whicv i know cuts a lot of my options, and from what i know about higher rpm stall torque converters that will only help my lauch. Any suggestions that can give me a noticeable increase in torque?

Welcome to the G35 Driver Forum, robert1911! I get it the 1911 is an automatic too! You need to read all the stickys at the top of the coupe page, you'll find great information on all those pages. Torque can be increased by adding all the breather mods and getting a tune. I picked up 20 lbs torque after doing so but it isn't cheap! After you've read the stickys if you have questions use our Search! Again, "Welcome to Driver and enjoy the ride!"

if you are looking to increase tq, which is where it will matter at the low end. you need to look into installing longer runner intake manifold. and keep the exhaust stock.
any exhaust you will add will increase your numbers higher in the rpm band but will likely drop a few tq down low where you want it to be.
