I got good deal on this sedan, I've been slowly doing all the maintenance items such as replacing bushing, fluids, filters, brakes and rotors. I had a rattling noise and tracked it to the cats, I replaced the cats with Kinetix HFC's and the rattle went away now I'm left with a ticking and clunking noise. I replaced the timing chain tensioner and that did't fix the problem, now I'm going to be taking the front end off and doing the entire timing chain kit with water pump and oil pump. My question I have is since I am going to have the entire front end opened up I want to replace the headers with a set of 2007 OEM HR headers that I have. Does anyone know if these can be used on the VQ35DE engine? Will the flanges match up to the HFC's? Any help would be appreciated.
