Just got a 2005 Coupe. Bad radiator fan.

Car runs great and goes like a rocket even with 114,000 on it. Handles better than most of the 911's I've had.

Just wondering if anyone has ever replaced one of the radiator fans? Looking at the radiator it appears the fans are part of the plastic housing that attaches in back of the radiator. I'm hoping I can replace just the fan.

Any ideas or suggestions appreciated.

Both fans are attached to the shroud, which can be removed as a whole. You can replace the individual fans too.

I got the same answer on another thread. I must have cleverly posted it twice when I signed up!

But thx for setting my mind at ease. It doesn't really look to be a difficult job unless I have some electrical gremlins in there.

This website really is helpful. Thx again.

The fans I received have only 2 wires while the fans I removed have a 4 wire connection.

Plus the mounting holes for the new fans do not match.

Can I possibly just get the existing motors rebuilt?

Thx.
