New guy from Georgia, '04 5AT coupe

Hey all! I just bought a G35 coupe this week. It's not perfect appearance wise, but it's the first legit "nice" car I've ever owned. I do wonder if the previous owner was a member on here; mainly because I don't know all the mods that the car has and I'd like to know before buying any.

The old girl is an '04 coupe, black with 5AT. The mods I know about - Tien coilovers, stainless steel brake lines, upgraded front brake rotors, completely rebadged trunk (not even Mount Fuji), Axis 5-spoke 19" rims, some heavy duty speaker wiring (though the OEM Bose radio is back in it), and some level of window tint. At some point there were head and taillight covers to make it look more GT-Rish I assume, but those were scraped off poorly before I bought it.

Current plans include blacking out the grille, painting the rims black, getting clear side markers, and a plenum spacer. I'm not gonna go too crazy with the mods yet.

Here's a picture I took of it the day I bought it. Trying to upload a photo when you've got a mobile device is ridiculous on this site.

Welcome fellow Ga native. You have a clean G. Their is a lot of great info on this site. Has helped me out a lot when I do mechanical work to mine. Just always keep in mind that when it comes to appearance take everything with a grain of salt. Whatever you like stick with that. People get on this site and get upset when someone tells them everything they think is wrong with their car. It's pointless. Anyway. Welcome! Lol.

Very nice, bprice92! I think I'm actually going to get the wheels powder coated instead of painted. There's a good powder coating shop not far from me.

As for appearances, I didn't buy this car for other people, I bought it for me :-D Everyone has their own subjective opinion (especially on the internet) and I don't put much stock in another person's views on aesthetics.

Thanks for your replies, guys!
