Hi, I'm new. Could someone tell me what kind of car I have?
Thank you, and yeah from all the shopping I did it was the best deal I could find within 100 miles. But I noticed James had it advertised in this forum for $10K or best offer! Dammit, he had it on Autotrader for $10,800!!! I paid freakin $10.5K. Bet he would've taken $9500.
Haha! CSI... The question all of you should be asking is where did I get $10,500 cash when I work as a musician/artist? I'll break it down:
Phase One: Collect Underpants
Phase Two: ?
Phase Three: Profit

Yep, in SD. You know those backroads out to Del Mar right? Every car I've had since my good old '99 Eclipse GSX has made good use of them. What part of San Diego are you in? I grew up in Encinitas but live in San Marcos now. SD!!!
I bought the cheap Concept Z off eBay. Got here 3 days ago & the front doesn't fit, apparently most front braces don't work with spacer installed? I know I know, I've got a ways to go on the G coupe learning curve. So, I'm hoping you know of any front strut tower braces that do actually fit with 5/16 spacer, or if there is a way I can make these work... Anyone?
Oh yeah, he was up front about that from the start & it wasn't listed in the Autotrader ad. I'm halfway glad about it really, I mean my last 3 cars were pretty built and naturally I've always done a good exhaust system on each. But the more over-30 I get the more boring I'm becoming, and for a couple years now driving up my street, pulling into my driveway with the loud "Brrrr" from the Dinan exhaust on my E36 coupe has been making me duck my head lower & lower as I pass the elderly. I dig the sound of my G35's stock exhaust. Don't get me wrong, I still want to go faster but I'd like to keep it as discreet as I can. Turbo whine & blowoff= STILL OK. I'm not writing that one off for the future. But somehow I need to keep the exhaust noise down as much as I can.

look into a tune too. i didnt see your seller mention he had that ever done
I will check them out. The other thing that I'd like is to keep the look of the tips as close to stock as possible- I mean, I know anything is going to have a larger diameter but discreet, straight-out mufflers would be ideal; most of what I've seen come out angled & I understand the space constraints. Just want to keep the "luxury coupe" character intact. Guess it's time to begin researching this stuff. Thank you for the suggestions
GT Spec. Probably a bit more expensive, but if it works hey.
You seem to know a lot about these cars so real quick I'm just curious (and since it seems I can't post in other sections of the forum as a basic user) : Is it normal for a healthy OEM clutch to catch kind of high up the pedal? It's not slipping or anything but it's just quite a gap compared to what I'm used to in other cars, even with factory clutch & shift equipment. Keep in mind I had to replace the master cylinder right after I bought it because a lady friend went gearjammin with parking brake on. Sorry to be a pest...
5hift 6ear
Where are these back roads? I wanna play. Haha
Also, yes, the high engagement point on the clutch is normal. Lots of people hate it, but there are a few fixes around here if you search for pedal kits or simple adjustment tips. I've just gotten used to it.
