G35 starting issues
G35 starting issues
I have a 2004 G35 coupe, the car will start fine on the first start of the day, once I get out of school an hour and a half later it takes about 7 sec of cranking before it starts. Usually starts better in cold weather. The car always starts it just has a really long crank time. It is not the battery as it is new. Any ideas on what it could be????? Really getting frustrated!
Camshaft position sensor. Just went thru this, but it was a long crank always. It will get progressively worse until it's bad enough to throw a code and turn on your CEL, VDC and Slip lights. Do you ever get short blips of power loss while driving?
My VDC and Slip lights are already on, but no power loss. Would it be the sensor in bank 1 or bank 2?

You'd have to check the codes. P0340 is bank one (passenger side) and P0345 is bank 2.
