My First G35!
My First G35!
Hey everyone. I just purchased my first G35x. It has been 3 days and I am loving it.
I traded a 2014 VW GTI with 22,000 miles for a 2007 G35x and my friends/co-works where asking me why would you go back. I tell them well my GTI had its water pump replaced twice once at 6,000 and again at 13,000. Then the final straw was driving home my air conditioning went out and when I pull in my drive lights on the inside started coming on. After some investigation I found my fuse box (on the inside) had melted. Dealership (which are jerks since I don't own a Mercedes or Porsche) told me the blower fan was pulling to much amperage. I asked why the fuse didn't blow instead of melting the fuse box they told me the fuse did what it was supposed to do...WTF??
So that is my story.
Glad to be a G35 owner!

Sicg35x, "Welcome to the G35 Driver forums!"
What you posted about the dealership is why we avoid and refer to them as the Stealership especially Infiniti! Nissan charges 30% less and I believe their mechanics are generally better trained! To gain knowledge about your G35 read all the stickys at the top of the coupe page. Questions, use our Search function.
Again, Welcome and enjoy the ride...Gary
