hey G35 community, just picked up a 2005 G35x last night. I have a 1.5 year old son and needed something with 4 doors for the time being. looked at b6 audi a4's and i just didnt want something with that many issues lol. i absolutely love this car!! i know a little bit about the VQ motors as some of my friends had 350 and 370z's as well as a nissan altima SE-R lol. I dont have any pics yet but ill post up the cragslist ad. I paid $5,000 for it and with it only having 103K on the odo its in great shape. missing the front bad in the grille so i have to get a new one but other then that i just have to steam clean the leather and then clay bar, clean, and polish the outside. first mod is going to be a stillen intake and then either a full exhaust or ill go with the coupe mid pipes and a custom exhaust not sure yet. https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/5753530878.html
I sold my pride and joy (yes i know let the flaming begin) haha. I had an 09 Cobalt SS Turbo. Full bolt ons, e85, and tuned at 22psi (spike to 25 drop to 22). Coilovers and a bunch of other stuff haha. made 357whp 375wtq on the stock turbo.
No flames here, Cobalt looks bad azz and almost 400WHP???? I wouldn't challenge you even in my stock GTO. Congrats on joining the family, you've come to the best resource for all things G on the internet. Sadly after 7 years I'm selling my G but she'll live on and I'm happy about that. Enjoy the hell out of your new ride, btw the coupe only has 1 midpipe lol.

haha thanks man!! yeah almost made 400whp if i would have went to a different stock housing turbo with a bigger wheel i would have made the 400whp. it only weighed just a tad over 2900lbs too. so the power to weight was amazing. very few people ever believed me when i said i could hang with new camaros and 5.0 mustangs lol.

No to the Infiniti question. I bought an 06 GTO last fall with less than 28K mlies and love it so much it's become my daily making the G expendable. It's been a good almost 8 year ride though and I wouldn't go back and change a thing.
