So i bought a Blox plenum spacer for my 2007 G35 Coupe. I keep seeing videos of some people using insta gasket and others not using anything...can somebody point me in the right direction. Blox directions are very no informant.

 

Step 1: Sell it.

Step 2: Buy a Motordyne spacer.

 

Is your response first hand knowledge? Or is it because there are no specs on the Blox. Not trying to be rude, just curious as to why they are no good

 

Most say the Blox spacer is crap because it's made of plastic which in most cases will break over time due to the heat. I have a motordyne spacer and the build quality is Damn near flawless.

 

I guess you get what you pay for. Maybe I should have bought mtordyne

 

Motordyne parts are great and all, but people here gotta learn to quit riding Tony's nuts so hard already - all plenum spacers work the same.

If anything I would be worried that the Blox is made out of plastic, but we put plastic gaskets on lots of motors to keep the intake plenum/manifold cooler.

Now if we were talking intake plenum as a whole, then it would become necessary to mention Tony's MREV2 and how great his products are.

 

Then give the OP a money back warranty. The fact that I don't have to worry about anything helps put the MD spacer in the nut riding category.

 

So you're saying that Motordyne is the only company to make a metal plenum spacer for the G? Well is it at least the most affordable option?

Is his plenum spacers made out of tiger's blood or something that makes it that much more special?

Are you saying that Tony actually had to do some real design work on a plenum spacer like he did the lower plenum - as in air wasn't being distributed evenly with this basic plenum spacer design so he had to make adjustments to it to make it better than the rest?

Did he do something other companies making a plenum spacer didn't do?

Does his spacer make +20hp while the rest only make 2?

Either way buy what you want but Tony has been reputable in these forums and the infiniti world for quite some time. His reputation and consumers all can't be lying about his products. If you know your parts are top grade then you don't worry about giving a money back guarantee.

 

I have personally licked Tony's nutz and they didn't taste that bad lolololol. From a safety and reliability perspective I wouldn't touch a Blox anything with Dofu's d!ck............................

 

I thought Tony was the one to develop the plenum spacer in the first place? Everybody else is just knock offs. I could be wrong though, I was riding SR20 nutz when all this VQ development was going on.

What I'm not wrong about is that you won't be missing items and will have very detailed directions with Motordyne products. Even though I got my spacer used, Tony hooked me up with hardware and new gaskets for a decent price.
