Hi guys, just joined and I have an 04 G35 sports coupe. I want to remove the stock spoiler and put on a cleaner one. I'm sure there are holes that I need to plug and was wondering if someone knew the plug sizes. I might need to order them as I live on an island and they might not be available.

We usually recommend replacing the trunk with a spoiler free one.

There is ghosting effects and the trunk.

 

Hi Urbanengineer, thanks for the reply. What do you mean by ghosting effects? Does that have to do with the fact that one of the brake lights will be disconnected?

 

I'm gonna have the whole car painted in a few months so all the holes will be filled. I live in the Caribbean so getting a rear trunk here will be a hassle. I will look into it though as the CF trunks look sick

Ghosting as in the paint under the spoiler will be brand new, and the surrounding paint will be worn, so it'll look uneven. Would still recommend a non-spoiler trunk sourced locally though.
