Loving the new G
Loving the new G
This 2003 G coupe is my first car. I spent 2 years trying to find one in my price range and the wait was definitely worth it. Some how managed to pick up a 96k mile G coupe for $6,500. I've had her for about 3 months now and I am completely smitten. While the temptation to turn her into a highway monster is definitely present I'm looking into getting a project car I won't feel bad about cutting up.
That said, I do plan on tinkering on my G a bit. Nothing major. Mostly planning on an intake spacer, and cold air intake. Any more extreme mods are out of my price range, being a college student. Also seeing that my G is my daily, reliability is of utmost importance.
I look forward to seeing what this forum has to offer. I'm glad to be part of the G/Z community.

I found a homemade Christian Rock CD in the car, so I imagine she was babied for her entire previous life. How someone could resist, I don't know.
That's funny, just picked up my G35 coupe and the other day when I was inspecting the trunk I saw workman's comp papers from some church in PA, so I know the car was owned by some clergy member who probably never brought it above 3k

I am always amazed at what people leave in cars when they sell them. I just bought a 2006 coupe, mint with 26,500 miles. I found the original bill of sale from 2006 in the zippered Infiniti trunk bag along with the owner's manual, maintenance booklet and the other Infiniti literature that came with the car. The bill of sale contains the original owners' social security numbers and of course their home address.
Yikes!
The cd changer was also loaded with six classical CDs, so I'm thinking it probably wasn't driven very hard. :-)

Holy cow!! I'm loving that mileage. Mine has just north of 129k on the clock. Nice purchase. Previous owner must've taken it for Sunday drives. Original sticker is an awesome find, I just ordered an owners manual for my car since my car strangley did not come with one.

OP, sorry for the thread hijack. You got a good deal too. I'm still shaking my head at this turn of events. We now return you to your regular program.
