sup guys and gals...i just recently picked up a 2004 g35 coupe..i love that lil rocket!!!!! lol...i plan on getting the full membership soon..cant wait to talk to fellow owners of such a fun ride.....im a painter so i cant wait to repaint her.it has been repainted and they didnt do a very good job....i would enjoy any pointers on dos and donts for this car..what mods work and what doesnt,,she was running pretty rough when i first got her,,ive replaced the maf and crank sensor,,cleaned the throttle body and did a ecu relearn..plan on plugs,,oil cooler seal,,and oil change this week,,will post pics when i can or figure out how..

 

Welcome aboard, as with any new vehicle check it's fluids daily until you're confident it's not leaking anything out. I would recommend to always check the oil level on a VQ weekly since they're notorious for consuming oil.

Mods that work:

-5/16" plenum spacer
-HFC or test pipes WITH a catback exhaust
-'06-'07 "rev up" air box from a 6MT with the 350Z "z tube"
-Uprev tune
-Suspension and handling mods
-Chrome deletes

Mods that don't work:
-Cheap ebay exhaust, unless you are wanting enough drone and rasp to make people cringe
-Intake tubes made from metal

Check the manufacturing date on your tires and replace if > 5 years old, get the alignment checked, tranny fluid and differential fluid swap, inspect the rear differential bushing for wear and replace immediately if it's cracked.
