2006 G35x

Hello all new guy here but had my car for a bit i know this should be my first post but came here for some help on my radio and now i cant stop browsing.
Got my car about 2 years ago used got some stuff fixed except some dashboard stuff (inaccurate fuel gauge and speedometer caps at 60 mph) and good amount of interior and exterior cosmetic imperfections. Got about 134,000 miles on it with an exhaust and intake in it but nothing crazy.

Finally in a position to make some much needed repairs on it so flame away hah

Sorry about the appearance of the interior switching out the radio and one speaker Isn't working so waiting to close up till i can figure the problem out

The lower part of the seat can be disassembled if you just want to get that part re-upholstered. Lots of potential.

I got a tear on the side of it too thinking of getting all new seats but love my heated seats too much to sacrifice that

Yeah, upholstery work is usually reasonably priced and it wouldn't surprise me if getting your seats rebuilt would cost less than buying another set of used ones. Most of the material looks like it's still in decent condition just the seat section that needs rebuilt, shop around locally with the body shops to find out who they recommend for upholstery work.

Ok sweet thank you for the tip definitely gonna try have to go to a body shop for all the chips anyway quick question even with a few mechanical problems all fixed except a loud squeal as i hit the gas halfway down and 134,000 miles is it worth it to put money into it you think?

That's entirely up to you bud, my dream car is the one I own ('06 coupe, 6MT, black, premium, RAS) and I'm constantly doing work to keep it 100%. To some folks their G is just an enjoyable car that will some day reach the end of it's life and end up in a wrecking yard or sold. To some folks the G is just a temporary solution before they get into another newer car. To others it's just 4 wheels and a gas pedal.
