Hello Everyone!

I have been using this website for a lot of research and decided to sign up after we bought the car! Picked up a 2008 Slate Blue G35X with 37,300 miles from our local CarMax it seems to be a base model with the power moonroof package (no navigation or sport package). We did decide to take out the extended warranty with the vehicle up to 100,000 miles or 5 years bumper to bumper. Are these pretty reliable cars for the most part? I know when they filled the tank upon purchase they used regular gas and as soon as that tank is empty we will begin fueling it with premium as required. I also changed the cheap CarQuest filter and dino oil for a Mobil 1 Filter along with Mobil 1 FS Extended Protection 5W-30. The car does have a slight coolant leak where the upper radiator hose connects to the radiator. It only has a faint smell when you really get on the car hard. CarMax will be fixing that next week.
