The rebuild cost is the same unless you are going to replace the exhaust cam actuator and phase sensor. Oil pump cost difference is negligible which is basically the only part difference, depending on how much head work needs to be done you should be able to rebuild for $1200-1500, last DE I did required FULL head work and ran about $1800 with .020 over bore.

This of course is highly variable on how much it's costing you for machine work, I've been using the same shop for over 20 years so my prices are pretty good and they throw in little unforseen things for free.
