New member looking to purchase

I'm looking to purchase an 2007-08 g35 sport sedan with the automatic. This will be my every day car so I don't want to spend a lot. I'm looking for something with under 130k miles on it.

What do you guys think is a good price to pay for these cars now. Also what are some of the problems areas that I should look out for while inspecting the car?

Price really depends on your location and the condition of the car.

If I were in your shoes I'd look at the 09 and up sedans. They have the 3.7L VVEL motors which are more powerful and reliable than the 3.5L HR motors that were in the 07 and 08. The interiors of the later models are vastly superior as well, the 07-08 have a lot of interior fit and finish issues which are easily fixable for the most part but why deal with them if you don't have to. Also the exterior of the later models looks a lot better imho. GL with your search and don't think with your heart when buying a new ride. Set a budget, take your time and use your head when choosing, you'll usually end up being happier in the long run if you do.

Welcome to the G35 Driver Forums!

No secret, buy the newest year with the least amount of miles you can afford! Another plus is maintenance records and a fox report with zero accidents! Being your every day driver you must have reliability, don't scrimp on the cost!
