$250.00 and I drove her home

I was at the right place at the right time. This car found me. It all started years ago when I saved a 02 Nissan Altima 3.5 from going to the scrap yard. My friend said the scrap guy was coming for it. I offered scrap price on the spot cash 250 I've seen this car before and figured for the price I couldn't go wrong. I was right it didn't take much and I was on the road. It was an amazing car for what it is. (Vq35de) Anyway I owned the car for 5 years and broke even when I sold it. Now again same story better car 04 infinity g35x I'll try to post some pics soon. But it's not your normal $250 car this ***** really clean for 14 years old. It was crazy i took the battery to be charged and replaced the terminal fuse thing. fired right up. The owner said he hasn't ran it in over 8 months. It did have some chain rattle the first start well the first 3 starts which I believe to be caused by the lack of oil pressure. It doesn't do it any more but with 158000 the plan is to do the hole timing chain thing. And replace most everything touched during that job. Already started building a pile of parts one by one. Once I complete the list I'll put her on the road. And drive ...it... ( i need a name ) to my mechanic. I've done this job before on the Altima i talked about. But I just don't want to do it again. Although it would be much easier cuz everything is up front unlike the sideways engine in the Altima. Don't get me wrong this car is solid and it does have some little things. I'll try to talk more about those issue as I deal with them. Hopefully get advice and my be give some. Sorry no pics yet.

Wow, you could pick like one or two items off it and sell for more than you paid for the entire vehicle.

 

There's nothing crazy wrong with this car i could sell and make a few thousand. But I'll love this car more then the money.
