Since I'm new, Im looking for a exausht that won't hurt the wallet too much but that still gives a better performance and sound.

Unfortunately those two are pretty much mutually exclusive. A cheap exhaust will typically sound raspy and cause cabin drone. A properly engineered one won't be as bad.

The first question is what chassis are you working with, coupe or sedan, they use different exhaust components from the mid-pipe back.

As far as performance is concerned the most restrictive component is the factory catalytic converter but you would likely want to upgrade the entire exhaust system if you plan on replacing the cats.
