Hi everyone,
I bought a silver high mileage G35 coupe as a bit of a fun beater car that I'll likely get rid of at some point for a less practical car when the situation allows. I chose it since I trust the VQ to be more reliable than e.g. a BMW engine, and because I figured it would be fun to have a car that's actually kind of fast.
So far, I'm actually quite pleased; throttle response, steering, suspension, and power all feel great. I always thought of the G35 as more of a luxury car, but this is way more fun than I thought I would be having.
The community here is already proving useful for some of the repairs I'm working on, and hopefully I'll be able to contribute throughout my restoration!
No pictures because even if you ignore the paint and interior damage, it's pretty stock and boring.
