Checkin in from missouri with a question

I just joined the g35 family last month (2005 5at), ive had nothing but smiles driving the car. I have an automatic just because I do delivery and I commute alot. This being said I love the manumatic mode. However, I have an issue where I cant seem to get the car to downshift sometimes. I like to drive it agressively but shifting from 3 to 2 and 2 to 1 seems particularly hit and miss. Ive had trouble going from 5 to 4 but not nearly as much as the ladder. Any suggestions would be much appriciated.

Clean the ground system, particularly the tranny ground on the timing cover, the engine ground next to it, the engine-chassis but being jumper that goes down below the coolant reservoir and the battery cable.

Both ends of the battery and primary engine bonding jumper.

Awesome will definitely take a look into this. I was already exploring the option of a grounding kit so this seems like a pretty solid first step. Thanks for the info.
