DS during break-in

My car has 200 miles at this point, and I've been keeping the RPM's below 4K. But I've also been driving in DS mode while keeping the RPM's below 4k.
Will this make any difference in the computer learning my driving style to be more agreessive as oppsed to breaking the car-in D mode???
Thanks.

Just drive it in D, until you break it in, what is the purpose of driving in DS if you are trying to break in your car.

DS is just going to keep the car in gear longer. The main thing is to vary your RPM's during the break-in period.

if you're seriously worried about hurting the car...don't.

throw it in ds. keep it in first or second and gradually work your way to redline a couple times. just half-throttle it.

babying at birth = it barely crawling later in life. the only things you need to worry about babying for the first 2-400 miles are the brakes and the clutch...which you don't have.

if you want it to 'learn' how you drive, then drive how you would normally drive. if you baby the car and it learns that, then you decide to drive harder, it'll have to relearn that.

Wide open throttle equal wide open throttle regardless of how the car is treated
