New member - HELLO!
Yeah skip the headers for now, it's a great item to tack on later down the road once you have gotten all the "low hanging fruit". For now you just want a 5/16 plenum spacer (preferrably motordyne), high flow cats, and an UpRev tune. If you don't mind the extra noise you can get a dual exhaust setup but again, don't skimp on it or you WILL regret it.
Heck you might just regret the noise and end up selling a high end cat back like I did :P
I don't regret the Fast Intentions resonated HFC's though, that on the stock coupe exhaust sounds pretty damned good. Just a little more aggressive than stock with no drone or rasp.

I think HFC's are dyno proven to get you about 8 whp, numbers like that are VERY small and I can't tell any noticeable difference if you're just adding components one at a time.
That goes for practically all bolt-ons with the VQ35DE though, the only part that had a gain I could actually feel was the motordyne 5/16 spacer and MREV2 (I have the rev-up engine thus requires the MREV2). That has been dyno proven to pick up about 20whp or so in the mid range and I could definitely feel a difference at like 3500rpm.
However if you do all the bolt-ons at once, for you that would be rev-up airbox, 5/16 spacer, hfc, cat back, tune, then it will feel like a SUBSTANTIAL improvement since you would be picking up about 35-40whp in one shot.

Wow, what a clean looking car.

Any future plans for the car? Personally I think it would look amazing with +15mm wheel spacers front +25mm rear, only look at bolt-on hubcentric spacers. That and the 350Z revised springs with adjustable front upper control arms and adjustable rear suspension like this set would make for a very good looking stance.

Street kit, not the race kit, but add the adjustable toe bolts.
Is it a black interior?
As for your exhaust question, the best of the best is the Motordyne Shockwave cat-back. Couple it with either the ART pipes if you don't have emissions inspections, or the Fast Intentions resonated HFC's if you do have emissions inspections (or just want it slightly quieter).
Lots of exhaust options but you get what you pay for so don't go cheap.

So I found the G I want to model mine around. He's even in Washington, like me, but won't reply to my messages on Insta! Bugger.
In any case, curious mostly about:
1) Front bumper and skirts - are they a full replace, or is the lip added to stock bumper? Any idea as to the manufacturer?
2) Headlights - holy smokes; what are these!?
3) Grill - is this aftermarket? Or do you think he actually painted the grill black and left the logo chrome?
4) Wheels - love these, I wish I could ID them. Any tools / ideas how I could ID those wheels?
Curious if you notice anything that stands out (I don't care for the black side-view mirros; I'd likely never tint my front window).
Going to model my car around this one. I wish this dude would reply to me on instagram! Curious about the body; are they full/new bumpers and skirts? Or is the lip added to the stock bumper? Also, what headlights are those? They look amazing.

2. Those look like Spec-D headlights, but they appear to have LEDs for the main beam instead of the projectors, so possibly customized.
3. Not really sure but could certainly be a stock one that was painted (minus the logo).
4. No idea.
5. That car also has aftermarket "eyelids" and clear turn signal lenses.

#3 for the grill--Ionic Dynamics (http://www.ionicdynamics.com) can provide that grill in matte black, without the badge. The paint work on it is excellent, fit is perfect. I'm more than pleased with mine.
1. Full replace. The front bumper looks like a NISMO (Skyline 350GT) replica. There are several manufacturers of replicas; no idea what brand it or the side skirts are. There may also be a a different rear bumper.

Thanks Mike! Curious about something separate (but somewhat related); I got coilovers to both lower my G and give it a more aggressive stance (likely lowering front 2" and rear 1-1.5"). Is there demand for used G parts, like the leftover shocks/struts I'll have after the replacement? They have barely 21k miles on them, so I feel like SOMEONE would find value in them! If so, are the classifieds on this forum the best place to post? Or are there other sites more often frequented by folks looking to buy parts?
I have a feeling the strut/shock combo will sell pretty fast, the springs may or may not.
As for the red car, pretty sure those are OEM headlights with the clear turn signal lens mod, and it has eyebrows on the headlights which gives it that aggressive shape. Front bumper looks like a Nismo style with Impul sides, no clue about the rear because there's no photoo, probably the Outcast Garage ones,
