Need Help Again!! Which wire goes with which? I'm so confused. Should I solder the wires together or not? 2004 G35 coupe. These are the wires from my car. MAF Connector
Yes! So I printed all the info you guys provided for me. I gave my mechanic the info. So this whole time I thought he was working on it or job was completed.I was in no hurry to get my car back. Anyways, long story short. My mechanic passed away on 1/3 from Covid. So I decided to bring my car home. I couldn't. He never got around to working on my car. I don't have the means to have someone do the job. So now I wanna try and figure this out myself. The colored wires on the
pigtail are different from the wires on my car.
It doesn't matter what color the wire is on that pigtail, just make sure the correctly corresponding engine wiring hooks up to the correct pin on the pigtail.
And yes you need to solder those connections, if you aren't comfortable soldering you can buy "solder splice" connectors that have a little bit of solder already inside the shrink tube. Use a heat gun, not a lighter, for the best results, a hair dryer doesn't get hot enough.
Just ping me with @cleric670 in this thread, it makes my phone beep so that's the best way to get ahold of me. Make sure to actually pick my name in the little dropdown box after you type that in though, once the font changes and my link is embedded I'll get the ping, just simply typing @ my name without actually SELECTING me from the list won't work.
