I just changed my 2003 Infiniti G35 throttle body, spark plugs and coil packs. And it started making this weird noise, and it would get worse with higher RPMs. It also has a loss in power. Anyone know what this could be?

 

I bet u crossed up the coil pack wires on the driver side aft and middle coils. Its pretty common to mix those up because of how the wires are oriented. It happened to me too. Dont drive the car like that. U will burn up your cats.

Do u have a check engine light on?

 

Yeah I mixed up the coils connection, thank you, the misfire went away, but it’s still making a small popping sound out of my exhaust, and worse with high RPMs.
