Transmission control module help
Transmission control module help
So I bought my Infiniti G35 sedan a few months ago 2007 and it had a shifting problem and my tester tells me a bad shifting solenoid so I got the valve body and everything dropped right now well when I took it out I noticed that it is already been replaced once before because it had a LKQ logo on it so the module had been replaced as well along with a couple solenoids my question is is there a way to tell if the previous person got that module programmed or he just forgotten didn't know nothing about it is there a way for me to tell without having to do any extra work would be forever grateful for some help on this
A TCM only needs to be reprogrammed if it's new, a used TCM doesn't need to be programmed.
Also, those solenoids are individually replaceable, you don't need to swap the entire TCM.
