Brake line options
Brake line options
Hey guys, I'm trynna replace my brake lines, and I was gonna go with galvanized steel lines and I wanted to fit the abrasion resistant braided pvc over it just cuz I want the steel lines to be a little protected. Is that kinna thing possible? Thanks in advance
It's probably a stainless braid not galv. I don't think it's necessary to add yet ANOTHER layer of protection to the SS braid, that's literally what it's for, protecting the actual brake line under the stainless braiding.
The most important thing is to make sure when you're installing your brake lines that you route them so they don't rub on anything. Once they're on and you have the wheels on but the car is still on jackstands have someone else turn the steering wheel completely lock to lock while you inspect to make sure they don't touch ANYTHING.
