hello, i just got a 2004 g35 coupe a few months ago, swapped in a low mileage motor after the last one blew up( previous owner masked knocking) and ive put in a mishimoto upgraded radiator, oil catch can, and intake, now im looking for reccommendations of where to get it tuned? Located in orlando FL

 

Get an e-tune from G35Driver's UpRev guru @seymore4. You don't need a dyno tune for a naturally aspirated engine, and you don't need to send the ECU off to a tuner. You just need a Windows laptop. Easy peasy.

Before you tune, get a 5/16" plenum spacer to fix the intake restriction in the plenum. Worth about 15 HP. Don't get a plastic one; get an aluminum one.

 

This is true; for normal bolt on street driven applications an etune is not only sufficient but often times better since the local "dyno guy" might do 1 G35 a month.. whereas a good etuner will do 1 a day.

when i put in the new motor i put brand new ngk laser platinum spark plugs, is that good or should i get the iridium?
