New-ish G35 driver, brand new G35 Driver user
Hey everyone. ![thewave](https://g35driver.com/forums/images/smilies/th_wave.gif)
I'd like to introduce myself.
My name is Dan and I am from Poughkeepsie, NY.
I am currently enrolled in Lafayette College in Easton, PA. My major is Biology but that may change.
I currently own a Black, 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe. I've had it for over a year and kept it stock.
I was all but forced (even though it was my own money) by my parents into getting an automatic.
I love my car all the same.
My father knew everything there was to know about cars, and then some, so I was going to rely on him to help me modify my car to my own specifications.
Unfortunately, he passed away in a tragic and freak accident 3 months ago. With all my childhood memories also went any and all expertise I had with my car.
The good news is that some of my dads best friends (who restore/race cars for a living) said they would help me install whatever and whenever.
The bad news is about DECIDING what to install, what to modify etc etc.
I have looked online and I have found it EXTREMELY hard to find good, quality parts for my car and that was one of the reasons I came to this site: help.
I was never one to run with the crowd and even though we can all agree that a stock G is one sexy beast, we all have our own tastes/wants and needs for our car.
SO, without further ado, I just wanna help contribute to the community and try to build a car that I can be proud of.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Welcome to the family Dan. You'll learn a lot from this forum if you use it wisely, most any question you might have will have already been asked on here at one time or another. The Search function is a great tool as are the "sticky" threads that start off all the sub-forums. Enjoy your new ride and make it your own.
No 22"s though, cool?

Hey Dan,
Welcome aboard! I'll echo the sentiments from everyone so far, let us know if you have specific questions, that will be the best way for us to help after you've researched the general idea of what you're looking for! And always, nice to see another OB in the fold (even if your headlights aren't as cool as 05's - we should trade! ROFL)
