485 Walbro fuel pump upgtade for 06 G35 Sedan

I upgraded my ‘’06 G35 Sedan stock OEM 296 CC fuel injectors to 550 CC supposed OEM fuel injectors. I was told by Z1 Motorsports that my stock fuel pump could not hamdle the upgrade and I needed a bigger fuel pump that could handle them. They recommended the Walbro 485 fuel pump. So I took the stock fuel pump out no problem-10 minutes max & got it out of the fuel pump basket no problem (don’t know if thats what it’s called-the top & bottom connect & hold the assembly w the fuel pump inside of it) I put the new fuel pump in but even though the fuel pump is actually the same length as the stock one, the bottom of the Walbro 485 has like a 1” lip on it that is wider than the stock 1 so I can not get the bottom piece to clip onto the assembly where it locks in. I am able to get the pump into the hole but I can not get that bottom piece up far enough so there is nothing underneath it to hold it up except for that sack. It does have that little bit of a lip on that bottom that I can file down so the new fuel pump can lock in better but I am afraid it’s not going to stay in. I also didn’t get an insulator for the bottom of the fuel pump in the installation kit. Do not know if I need that. The other problem is I sent in my ECU and had it tuned specifically for the 550 cc fuel injectors, the oversized throttle body I put on, the new intake & kinetx racing plenum I put in so I do not know if I could put the Walbro 255 or another fuel pump that would fit directly in & of the ECU would still be tuned right, I was hoping someone would know what type of modifications I need to make or could make to make it fit. And I have not changed anything else with the fuel assembly. I plan on just running 91 or even 87 octane in my car. Do I need to do anything else & has anyone done this before? All of the videos seem to be in later year G 35’s which have the HR or Rev up engines which have a different fuel pump assembly which they made modifications too but does not help me out at all. Can anyone help me out here? Would be much appreciated. Would add some pictures of w everything, but haven’t figured out how to do that yet. Thank you in advance.

Photos for my 485 Walbro upgrade

Walbro 255 fuel pump bit is same size & width of stock 1 to show the difference between the 485

The 495 fuel pump which you can see the the wider lip on the bottom of the fuel pump compared to the 255

The Walbro install kit which I am missing the insulator

The 550 CC fuel injectors I installed
