Rattling Noise On Deceleration/downshifts A/T
Hey everyone,
I have been getting a rattling noise when I take my foot off of the gas around the 60kmh range.
It happens during the deceleration of the car before the sound stops at lower speeds of 40-50kmh or less.
Seems to appear before the automatic transmission downshifts from 4-3rd or 3-2nd.
There is no sound for acceleration or upshifts.
Gear changes are not shaky or turbulent in anyway.
I do not smell an odour, and the vehicle temperatures show at a normal range.
All Fluids have been recently inspected or changed.
Any ideas on what could be creating this rattling sound?

Exhaust heat shields? Get down on the ground and bang your exhaust pipes with your hand and see if it makes the same rattly sound. Pretty common for old cars to have rusty heat shields that vibrate against the exhaust or something else under the car.
