Im looking for some advice with this issue Ive come across. My g35 2007 sedan was stolen last week and by some miracle I've found it in one piece with the exception of a bump on the side fender. Honestly as soon as I noticed it was gone, I left any thought of retrieving it out of my mind and just accept it that I'll find it either burnt up or in pieces. Mind you this is Oakland CA I'm talking about. I believe the reason they didn't take it apart is because my car is the poster child for what a "ghetto car' is. I'll try to upload a pic. Anyways, I believe they made a fob key because nothing was broken inside or outside and my key doesn't work now. I insert the key in the slot and it still says no key detected. Is it as simple as calling a locksmith or can I reset the original key somehow? Thanks
